Become a Host Home Provider!

All Friends is seeking individuals or couples with an open bedroom in their home to provide meaningful, educational and supportive services to an adult (our Friend) with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities on a full time basis. This opportunity is to serve either a male or female Friend providing supervision and teaching opportunities to establish daily living and social skills. Assistance with enhanced choice making and empowering our Friend to make informed decisions about their own life experience is part of this rewarding position.

Typical Supports Needed for our Friends:
*Medication Administration
*Scheduling, attending, and following up with doctors appointments
*Modeling appropriate social interactions
*Implementing support plans developed by the agency

Some Host Home Providers are able to continue to work outside their home while our Friend attends a day program or work. Others choose to stay at home and enjoy the flexibility this position gives them to raise their families or pursue other interests. All training is provided ahead of placement of our Friend in your home, giving you the supports needed to be successful in caring for and integrating this person into your family.
