Services and Supports
We want to see each Friend thrive in a nurturing home where there are possibilities for growth, independence and choice. We know that what makes a home “right” can be different for each person and family.
The living situations we offer include:
Host Home
Individuals or couples who have been thoroughly screened, trained and approved by All Friends can provide a family home for a Friend. Our Friend will have his or her own bedroom to enjoy and decorate, and will be part of the host family’s daily life. Every provider and every home is evaluated with the needs of a specific Friend in mind, to help make matches that are safe, satisfying and healthy for everyone.
Family Caregiver Home
Our Friend may also choose to live in a home of a relative who can be paid in the same manner as a non-related host home provider. The same training, approval and oversight of the relative’s home will be in place to ensure the best experience for our Friend.
Apartment Setting
A Friend who is assessed and found to be a good candidate may choose to live in their own apartment. He or she will receive daily support and access to All Friends staff who will make sure that needs are met and our Friend’s health and safety are assured.
Continuous oversight
- After a Friend moves into a home, All Friends provides a level of oversight that is over and above industry standards.
- Each residence is monitored with personal visits at least once a month.
- Our Friend and the people they live with are expected to communicate with All Friends to ensure Our Friend and Provider are satisfied with their relationship.
- Extensive medical and medication records are kept for each Friend, and monitored by the All Friends nurse.
